Welcome to EnhancedCarry.com. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and participation in our firearms training courses. Please read these terms carefully before registering for any course or using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EnhancedCarry.com website and registering for any of our firearms training courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

EnhancedCarry.com provides firearms training courses in Mississippi, including:

  • Mississippi Enhanced Carry Permit certification courses (8-hour DPS-approved training)
  • NRA Basic Pistol Shooting courses
  • Other firearms safety and training programs as offered

All courses are conducted by state-licensed instructors and comply with Mississippi Department of Public Safety requirements.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To participate in our training courses, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age (or 18 if active military/veteran for certain courses)
  • Be legally eligible to possess firearms under federal and Mississippi state law
  • Not be prohibited from possessing firearms due to felony conviction, domestic violence conviction, or other legal restrictions
  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during any training session
  • Be physically capable of safely handling and operating a firearm

By registering for a course, you certify that you meet all eligibility requirements. Providing false information may result in immediate dismissal without refund.

4. Registration and Payment

Course registration and payment terms:

  • Course fees must be paid in full prior to or on the day of the scheduled class
  • Payment methods accepted will be communicated during registration
  • Course fees cover instruction, training materials, and certification (where applicable)
  • Ammunition and firearm rental (if needed) may be subject to additional fees
  • Prices are subject to change without notice for future course offerings

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made 48+ hours before the scheduled class: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
  • Cancellations made 24-48 hours before class: 50% refund or reschedule with $25 fee
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class: No refund, but may reschedule with $50 fee
  • No-shows without prior notice: No refund and no reschedule
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to weather, instructor availability, or insufficient enrollment

If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

6. Safety Requirements

Safety is our top priority. All participants must adhere to the following:

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor at all times
  • Handle all firearms as if they are loaded
  • Keep firearms pointed in a safe direction at all times
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
  • Wear appropriate eye and ear protection during live-fire exercises
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to the instructor
  • Refrain from handling firearms when not under direct instructor supervision

Failure to follow safety rules may result in immediate dismissal from the course without refund.

7. Assumption of Risk

Firearms training involves inherent risks. By participating in our courses, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • Firearms training involves the use of live ammunition and carries inherent risks of injury or death
  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in firearms training
  • You are physically and mentally capable of participating in firearms training activities
  • You will inform the instructor of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely participate
  • You understand that despite all safety precautions, accidents can occur

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Mississippi law:

  • EnhancedCarry.com, its instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, death, or property damage arising from participation in training courses
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise)

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EnhancedCarry.com, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your participation in any training course
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any law or regulation
  • Any misrepresentation made by you
  • Your negligent or wrongful conduct

10. Intellectual Property

All content on EnhancedCarry.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, and course materials, is the property of EnhancedCarry.com and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

11. Course Completion and Certification

Regarding course completion and certification:

  • Successful completion of a course requires attendance for the full duration and passing any required assessments
  • For Enhanced Carry courses, you must pass the live-fire qualification (50-round course of fire)
  • Certificates are issued upon successful completion and are valid for permit application purposes
  • We report course completions to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety as required
  • Certificates are non-transferable and may not be altered or forged

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of DeSoto County, Mississippi.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Agreement to Terms

By registering for a course or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of another person, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person to these terms.
